The command to disable the LMI completely on a MFR or FR interface is "no lmi". It has the effect of marking the WAN interface up.

For example, on a DS3 interface you would do the following. Use the
"show interface bundle wan1" command to see the status.

link t3 1
encapsulation frelay
fr
no lmi
pvc 500
ip address 105.1.1.21 30
exit
exit
